I am not an architect. Can I apply?

Definitly. The DRX is a transdisciplinary model and we are especially interested in applications from other fields such as social science, engineering, art, mathematics

I am a student. Can I apply?

Sure. But as the DRX is a residency program for researchers such as PHD-candidates and Post-Docs, the competition will be tough.

I live in another country than Germany. Can I apply?

Most definitly. In the past, the DRX was highly international and we intend to keep it this way. Travel scholarships might be available for you.

Where do I work?

You will work at the Berlin office of HENN.

Do I have to bring my own computer

HENN office Berlin will provide work stations for all DRX participants, including computers, architectural software. Above all you will have the chance to use our model workshop under the supervision of our workshop manager.

Can I apply for a scholarship?

You will receive a full scholarship to cover your stay in Berlin. Beside this there are numerous scholarships available in Germany / the EU to support your participation in the DRX depending on your background.
The DAAD is a good place to start looking.

How may DRX researchers will be working there / how large is the program?

We offer up to seven seats.

Do I need a working permit?

It depends on your nationality. We can help you to find out.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. We will issue a certificate of participation after the successful completion of the program.

I am interested in continuing the work conducted as part of the DRX. Can I use the material?

Absoluetly. You (the DRX researchers) are the authors of the material and we encourage any further development and usage.
