RLB Campus '25

Openness, flexiblility and multi-functionality are the guiding principles for the new CAMPUS ‘25 development in Linz. A wide range of services and facilities for the Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich will be accessible and open for use by the wider public.

Opening and urbanity

The new building for the Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich is the central cornerstone of the campus, transforming the site between the Blumau Tower and Südbahnhofmarkt into an innovative and vibrant setting. Its co-working zones, shops, restaurants and exhibition spaces provide a stimulus for businesses, while simultaneously improving the outdoor spaces for the general public.

Its co-working zones, shops, restaurants and exhibition spaces provide a stimulus for businesses, while simultaneously improving the outdoor spaces for the general public.

A sense of belonging and identity is generated both in the interior space and in the exterior design through its fluid transition from the urban surroundings to the atrium of the campus, which extends itself as a spatial continuum to embrace the individual working spaces and beyond to the roof terraces. The effect is that of a three-dimensional plaza, which zones the multiple floors via the large open space, gives the offices rhythm and cadence, and incorporates the whole into the neighbouring vicinity. The lower storeys fuse to form generous and flexible occupancy areas, which morph in the upper storeys to become modern office worlds.

The urban-development framework is set by the uniqueness of the building‘s cubic volume and its staggered, terraced vertical evolution which acts as a mediating force between the Blumau Tower and the main offices. The interior plaza is additionally emphasized through its visual enunciation in the facade of the building, creating a hovering impression on the upper levels.

"Urban and inspiring, the building provides the ideal environment for all work situations." - Klaus Ransmayr, HENN

The CAMPUS ‘25 represents new and innovative working worlds, which in dialogue with its urban surrounding generate spatial opportunities for personal interactons and encounters.
