EDGE HafenCity at the “100 Architects of the Year 2026” exhibition in Busan
As in 2025, Partner and Managing Director Martin Henn has been selected for the international exhibition “100 Architects of the Year,” on view in Busan, South Korea, from October 27 to 31, 2026. This year, he is represented by the EDGE HafenCity project.
The show is organized by the Korean Institute of Architects (KIA) together with the International Union of Architects (UIA) and bridges contemporary architecture with the personal design philosophies of the participating architects. For the first time, video contributions complement the models.
Completed in 2025 in Hamburg’s Elbbrücken neighborhood, the EDGE HafenCity office building is centered around a publicly accessible atrium, with an open staircase spiraling up through all floors.
