Building Physics Engineers (f/m/x)

You can expect the following

  • Participation in the design and development of energy-efficient and sustainable building projects
  • Planning and consulting services in accordance with HOAI, Annex 1, Section 1.2, Building Physics
  • Thermal insulation verification and energy performance calculations in accordance with the German Building Energy Act (GEG) and DIN V 18599
  • Measures for sound insulation and room acoustics
  • Verification of summer thermal protection
  • Building and building services simulation
  • Quality assurance and technical support throughout all project phases
  • Support with building certifications, life cycle assessments, and funding applications (BAFA, KfW)
  • Conducting internal training sessions as well as advising clients and project teams

You bring along

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Physics, or a comparable field of study
  • Experience in energy performance calculations in accordance with DIN V 18599 as well as building services and building simulation
  • Experience in the design of sound insulation and room acoustics measures
  • Knowledge of solid construction and timber construction methods
  • Experience in climate design, energy concepts, and the energy assessment of building services systems
  • In-depth knowledge of thermal insulation in buildings as well as the planning and implementation of building services systems
  • Proficient in the use of digital planning and simulation tools (including IDA ICE, ZUB Helena, ZUB Argos) as well as BIM model checking
  • Structured and interdisciplinary working approach, strong communication and teamwork skills, and excellent German and good English language skills
