Meet the Firm: Martin Henn ‘08 MS.AAD

Tue, Oct 26, 2021    12pm

Columbia GSAPP is pleased to have Martin Henn ‘08 MS.AAD offer an introduction on the firm HENN and how the firm’s specialized knowledge—building highly functional and technically advanced spaces for the production of everything from human tissues to luxury vehicles—informs the work they do in the fields of offices, education, and culture. HENN is currently working on the new Google office in Berlin and renovating the largest cultural center in Europe, the Gasteig in Munich.

Martin Henn is Managing Director and Head of Design at HENN. He studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and at the ETH, Zurich. He received his Master’s Degree in Architecture from the ETH, Zurich in 2006, and his Post-Professional Master of Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University, New York in 2008. Prior to HENN, he worked for Zaha Hadid Architects in London and Asymptote Architecture in New York.

Presentation with Q&A to follow, facilitated by Radha Devang Kamdar, ‘22 MSAAD.
