The Ritz-Carlton

Wolfsburg, DE

The five-star The Ritz-Carlton Hotel to the north east of the Autostadt Wolfsburg opens as a concave ring to the south east. The inviting architectural gesture welcomes the visitor and mediates protection and security in the inside of the building's ring. Surrounded by the warm hue of the natural stone façade, the Japanese garden extends an invitation to linger. The solidium is of classic structure with a base, regular storey and attic storey. Protruding elements and setoffs help the base and the attic differentiate themselves from the three continuous storeys. The ground floor houses the lobby, restaurants, bar and the conference rooms of the hotel. The upper storeys are reserved as guest rooms. There are 174 rooms, including 19 suites and two Presidential Suites.
